Framlingham Town Football Club is an English football club based in Framlingham, Suffolk. The club are currently members of the Suffolk & Ipswich League Division One and play at Badingham Road. The club is affiliated to the Suffolk County FA. ==History== The club was established in 1887 and started playing in the Ipswich & District League (now the Suffolk & Ipswich League). They dropped into the Framlingham League, before playing in the Leiston League and the Woodbridge League and returning to the Ipswich & District League. The club won Division Two of the Suffolk & Ipswich League in 1980–81, and the League Cup in 1989–90. In 1991–92 they won the Senior Division and the League Cup, but could not be promoted to Division One of the Eastern Counties League as their ground did not meet the required standards.〔(Framlingham set for FA Vase experience ) East Anglian Daily Times, 16 September 2010〕 In 1995–96 they reached the final of the Suffolk Senior Cup, losing 3–0 to Grundisburgh. In 2010–11 they entered the FA Vase for the first time.
